We’re excited to share a milestone for Chapel House Estate—our first honey harvest! This autumn, our hardworking bees have gifted us an exceptional honey that captures the beauty and flavour of our estate’s wildflowers, gardens, and meadows.
Our Journey to Harvest
At Chapel House Estate, we believe in creating experiences that are rooted in nature and sustainability. Establishing beehives on the estate was a natural step, allowing us to enhance the biodiversity of our grounds and give back to our environment. Over the past year, we’ve carefully tended our bees, and now, we’re thrilled to offer you a taste of the estate itself through this golden honey.
Our bees thrive in abundant local wildflowers, lavender, and blossoms scattered across the gardens. This flora infuses the honey with subtle floral undertones and a rich, smooth sweetness. Each jar of Chapel House Estate Honey is a testament to the dedication of our bees and the seasonal beauty surrounding us.
The Taste of Chapel House Estate in Every Jar
Chapel House Estate Honey is pure, unprocessed honey that reflects the character of our land. Its warm amber colour and delicate flavours give hints of the estate’s natural flora, making it the perfect addition to any dish—whether drizzled on fresh bread, stirred into tea, or used to sweeten a winter dessert.
Our first harvest jars, available for £7.50 each, are a unique opportunity to enjoy a taste of the estate. You can purchase Chapel House Estate Honey directly from our office or visit Number Nine Restaurant, which also features it in a few signature dishes.
Why Local Honey Matters
Local honey, like ours, offers benefits beyond its delicious taste. Rich in antioxidants and known for its potential health benefits, it’s a seasonal superfood for the body and the soul. And because our bees contribute to pollinating local plants, every jar supports a cycle of sustainability and growth.
Limited-edition & Locally Crafted
Our Chapel House Estate Honey is only available in limited quantities, so pick up a jar while supplies last. Each jar represents the essence of our estate and our dedication to crafting something extraordinary for our guests and community.
We’re proud to bring you the fruits of our first harvest and look forward to sharing more as our bees continue their essential work. Thank you for supporting our commitment to sustainability and savouring this delightful new product – we hope you’ll love it as much as we do! A special thank you to Martin Butts, who took care of our bees throughout the year and all his excellent advice on this journey.
