Sometimes, the best escape is the simplest one. Our Dine & Stay experience brings together the very best of Chapel House Estate: relaxed dining at number nine, warm hospitality and an overnight stay in one of our peaceful Hideaway Lodges.
Arrive and unwind
Your escape begins from the moment you arrive at the estate. Check in to your Hideaway Lodge from 3pm, close the door on the outside world and settle into your surroundings. Each lodge offers a quiet, private place to pause, with the wild beauty of the Kent countryside just beyond your window. There is no rushing and no lengthy itinerary – simply time to relax and enjoy the estate at your own pace.
When you are ready, make your way to our Lounge Bar, where warm hospitality will be waiting for you. Take a seat, raise a glass and let the evening begin.
Dinner at number nine
From the Lounge Bar, your evening continues at number nine restaurant. Warm, welcoming and shaped by the seasons, number nine is a place for generous food and unhurried evenings. Our chefs work with thoughtfully sourced ingredients to create dishes full of flavour, allowing the quality of each ingredient to shine.
As part of the Dine & Stay experience, you will enjoy a three-course dinner for two. Choose a starter, main course, and dessert, then settle in for an evening designed to be savoured. Plus a bottle of our own label of wine, choose from white, rose or red wine. Whether you are celebrating something special or simply making time for one another, this is dining without the need to watch the clock.
Stay a little longer
After dinner, there is no journey home. Take a gentle walk back through the estate and retreat to the comfort of your Hideaway Lodge. Pour a final drink from the mini bar, sink into bed and enjoy the rare luxury of knowing the morning is entirely your own.
With check-out at 10am, there is time to wake slowly, enjoy the quiet of the estate and leave feeling properly restored.

Dine & Stay is perfect for anniversaries, birthdays and spontaneous nights away. It is equally lovely when there is no occasion at all.
