At Chapel House Estate we love working with couples who want to put together a last-minute wedding together as we love spontaneity. As a result we have mastered the art of hosting the perfect wedding, at short notice. It really is possible to book and plan your dream wedding in just a few months. However, if you are a ‘sooner rather than later’ couple you will need to establish your priorities, be decisive and focus on the elements of your wedding that are most important to you.
For a last-minute wedding, we recommend getting married on a Sunday to Thursday and perhaps out of season, however don’t forget to ask us about any late cancellations, you just never know we might have your date…….x
Please note that with last-minute weddings, you might need to be flexible on your choice of suppliers and the time of day you get married.
Kent County Council requires a minimum period of 28 days before the date of the proposed marriage, and you will need to find the time to attend a meeting at the council offer to give your Notice of Intent to Marry, so you will have to be flexible and probably will have to wait for a cancellation.
But don’t worry, short-notice weddings don’t phase us. The team will seamlessly ensure your last-minute wedding flow, from booking and counting down the days to your big day.
