Winter Weddings
If you love the winter and are planning a magical and cosy winter wedding, Chapel House Estate offers you the perfect background for hosting your big festive day.
When couples think of booking a wedding, chances are that their guests will assume it’s going to be a spring, summer, or early autumn wedding. However, more and more couples are bucking the trend and embracing the winter months. The cooler days make perfect sense if you can’t stand the heat of the summer or even want a festive family fun-filled Christmas-themed wedding.
One thing is for sure: winter is a magical time of year. Here at Chapel House Estate, we believe it is probably the most romantic time of the year as you snuggle up with your nearest and dearest and spend quality time indoors with family and friends.
Rustic Old Malt Granary Indoor Ceremonies
Chapel House Estate offers the perfectly converted, rustic, heated Old Malt Granary. The charming, licenced-for-indoor ceremonies, rustic traditional Kentish barn is the ideal place to say I do in front of all your family and friends, as it removes any weather watch issues.
Post Your Winter Wedding Ceremony
After your wedding ceremony, enter the large modern Thorne Barn for your reception and wedding breakfast. This large, heated, white-box space lets you amp up the lighting, flooding your reception with candles and lanterns while maximising the winter sunlight through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Then enjoy a band or DJ, and your nearest and dearest can then stroll back to their onsite accommodation (sleeping up to 34 guests).
If you want to book the same lovely venue at a naturally beautiful time of the year, your guests will likely be available as it’s an out-of-season wedding. But booking Chapel House Estate for your Winter Wedding can also help with budgeting.
