At Chapel House, with 35 acres, we love hosting team-building meetings that could include archery, axe throwing, etc.
Our venue boasts the spacious Thorne Barn and the cosy Old Malt Granary Barn, perfect for intimate breakout sessions. Both barns are equipped with air conditioning, heating, and sound systems, ensuring your comfort throughout your event.
With our catering team, we can offer Breakfast, tea, coffee, and biscuits for midmorning snacks, bowl food, grazing boards, or sandwiches for lunch, and party food such as picky food or stone-baked pizzas for summer evenings.
Conferences and Networking
The large purpose-built Thorne Barn is perfect for any event, whether it’s during the day or at night. It features a side-facing projector, clickers, and microphones for presentations or entertainment.
Natural light fills the room, and there are automated blackout blinds for when you need darkness. The space can accommodate 150 people seated or up to 200 people standing. Plus, there’s a fully stocked bar and an outdoor patio with seating and a real fire.
Additionally, there’s an outdoor paddock for events in the open air.

Christmas Parties
Looking to host a Christmas party? You have the option to book a table or tables at a shared event, or you can hire out specific areas within the venue. For smaller gatherings of up to 50 seated guests, you can reserve the Courtyard, Lounge Bar, and No 9 Restaurant.
If you’re looking to host a larger event, Thorne Barn can accommodate up to 150 seated guests or 200 standing.
